This engaging symposium explored new clinical frontiers in the management of type 2 diabetes (T2D).
Medtronic supported some exciting sessions at ATTD22:Medtronic Smart MDI system: A novel combination of smart insulin pen and CGM to improve type 1 diabetes management
In this session, Medtronic introduced their first Smart MDI system which combines real time CGM with predictive glucose alerts and personalized insulin dosing to help patients stay ahead of their glucose levels and take the right dose at the right time.
The session was chaired by Robert Vigersky, who also presented alongside Rainer Straβburger-Lausen, and Rocio Harbison.
Successful Initiation of the MiniMedTM 780G System in the Wider Population with Type 1 Diabetes
This practical session focused on how to onboard people with type 1 diabetes on the MiniMed™ 780G system, aiming to achieve the highest possible glycemic control while minimizing the demands on users and caretakers.
The session was chaired by Prof. Ohad Cohen, who also presented alongside Pilar I. Beato-Vibora and Henk Jan Aanstoot.
